When Glyfada had only pastures, Thanasis Karaindros, the grandfather, was from the first citizens of Glyfada who had his own pen (enclosure) which exists until now in its original form.
In 1977, he decides to open in the same location a tavern, giving the name “Mantri” which actually on greek means pen. Very quickly, it became one of the most well-hidden, secret hangouts in the southern suburbs for meat lovers and lovers of traditional greek cuisine.
Now, as the third generation of Karaindros family, we continue dynamically with great appetite, responsibility and love what our grandfather started, turning the mountain of Terpsithea into a reference point for the fanatical lovers of meat.
The eldest son, one of the owners of the three siblings and executive chef in the family business, in Glyfada store.
At the age of 18, he studied Business Administration at IEK Xini, but in 2004 his love for cooking made him complete his studies at the School of Tourism Professions of Cooking Art.His professional career in the field of catering brought him many distinctions and awards with the most important moment in the award of the restaurant Mantri “The best European Restaurant 2021” at the conference of the European Council of Fellowship of Gastronomy and Ecology (CEUCO) . As a administrative member of the Attica Acropolis Chefs Club, he has a dynamic presence in many gastronomic conferences and events.
The middle son and also the owner of the restaurant, responsible for the administration and organization of the staff, the person behind the aesthetic image of the Glyfada and Mykonos stores.
From a young age he knew that Business Administration is the subject he wanted to deal with and completed his Studies in it with a specialization in Economics in Athens.
The person with the restless spirit who realized the dream of the family to create a “second” Mantri at the island of Mykonos. During the summer months, Christos is there to welcome you.

From an early age she loved being in the kitchen of the house on a chair next to her mom and helping her with cooking. Graduate of Business Administration in Patras and Culinary School of Athens.
